ENGAGEMENT PORTRAITS: Celebrate your love with portraits. Your portraits are taken outdoors in unique and wonderful locations to give them a touch of playfulness and romance. Every couple's portraits are as unique and wonderful as they are!

We can incorporate your hobbies and/or extra curriculars into your portraits. Use your guitar, trumpet, pom poms, vehicle, horse, and more. Make an impact with your Senior portraits.

Have friends or relatives in your portraits: Up to two friends or relatives, an additional $50 and for three or more persons it's $10 per person including the $50 for the first two
10 Tips To Great Senior Portraits:
1.) Get plenty of rest the night before your session. You want your eyes to be nice and bright for your portraits.
2.) If you've recently gotten your hair cut, let it grow out a week before having your portraits done. That way if there are any tan lines on your forehead they will be covered. Also, if you've had your hair dyed wait a week before your photo session to let the dye have time to settle and look more natural. Girls, bring your hairspray and a curling iron for touch ups if the need arises. Guys and girls, bring a comb or hairbrush.
3.) Have your clothes picked out and ready the night before your photo session. Have your accessories picked out and placed in a plastic baggy, so that it's easier to travel with and keep track of. Pick clothes that reflect your personality and are appropriate for the season you are having your photo session in. I recommend that the majority of items you choose to wear are solid colors. It helps yourportraits look timeless, but it is okay to bring one or two articles that say Seniors or whatever else you may choose. Bring at least four changes of clothes for your session and at least four different choices in jewelry. I am glad to help you choose what will work best for your session. Try to stay away from flip flops, shorts, and from sleeveless shirts/tops, bold patterns, and logos. You want your face to dominate your portraits and not have any other big distracions.
4.) Girls bring your make up with you in case of needed touch ups. Also, bring chapstick or lip gloss to keep your lips hydrated.
5.) Don't worry too much about blemishes. I can remove most small blemishes in editing. Don't try to cover them up with a lot of make up. It helps to keep a more natural look.
6.) If you wear glasses, bring an extra pair without lenses in them for the purposes of your photo session. You can keep your look, but without a glare on the lenses.
7.) Smile! I will ask you to do some of your shots smiling and without smiling. If you aren't comfortable showing your teeth when you smile, just let me know. I also recommend practicing your smile in front of a mirror at home until you are comfortable with it before your session.
8.) Bring something that reflects your personality, talents, or hobbies. Such as a musical instrument, a trophy, a unique piece of jewelry, pom poms, etc. I do location photography, so I can take your portraits with your motorcycle or other vehicle if you have one you wish me to take your portrait with. I can also take your portrait with you and your horse, if you wish. Just be sure to let me know in advance.
9.) Make sure your nails are nicely trimmed and groomed. Girls, treat yourself to a manicure and pedicure, if you like, the day before your session.
10.) Color recommendations for clothing and/or jewelry by season:
Spring and summer - sky blue, khaki or tan, pink, watermelon, dark peach, pale yellow, light purple, white, light green, light teal, turquoise
Fall - Red, gold, deep orange, emerald green, dark blue, dark purple, black, brown, dark teal, turquoise
Silver jewelry is timeless and goes with any color clothing and is great for any season.
